Renewable energy has become a hip concept in the United States over the past few years, and the field is expected to play a major role in the revitalization of our nation's economy. This project takes a look at some community groups that are leading the push towards clean energy in the Boston area.

Campus "greens"
Massachusetts Powershift, a network of politically- and environmentally-active college students, held rallies at eight different campuses throughout the Bay State on April 18.



Green lights on the horizon for Chinatown
Boston's chapter of the Asian Community Development Corporation, in partnership with CITGO-Venezuela, is giving free compact flourescent lights to Chinatown residents.
